We’re pleased to announce a new partnership between the Montana Office of Public Instruction and Discovery Education. This exciting partnership supports the creation of engaging digital learning environments by providing Discovery Education Experience, our award-winning K-12 learning platform, to all Montana public school classrooms.

Access Discovery Education

District Leaders

Discovery Education integrates with the most popular EdTech tools and systems, making it easy for teachers and students to securely sign in. To get started, have a district administrator or IT team member review DE’s integration options, and complete the form below. A Discovery Education technical integration specialist will follow up to assist you with setting up access.

Educators

Check with your district or school leaders to understand how to sign into Discovery Education. Alternatively, use the ‘search my school’ feature at app.discoveryeducation.com, and we’ll guide you the rest of the way!

Montana Days of Discovery 2024

August 6: Miles City at Miles City Community College | August 8: Helena at University of Montana Helena Campus

Discovery Education is providing two full days of FREE professional learning to all teachers, administrators, and other educators working in Montana Public Schools. OPI has made this possible by purchasing Discovery Education Experience and DreamBox Reading & Math for every public school in Montana! Plan for a full day of learning!

This event provides a unique opportunity for educators to learn, share, and connect in a fun, casual environment! This single-day event gives educators a way to come together and learn about Discovery Education while sharing ideas and meaningful experiences. On their exclusive Day of Discovery, attendees will learn from DE staff, but most importantly from each other through impactful breakout-style sessions.

Day of Learning in the Bitterroot

August 19 | 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM MST | Bitterroot College: 103 South 9th Street, Hamilton, MT | Cost: Free

Please join Allison for a Day of Learning in the Bitterroot! All schools in Montana have Discovery Education Experience through a partnership with OPI at no cost. Let us help you save time in planning and preparation, using Experience to support your standards and curriculum!

Experience has over 200,000 resources for any teacher, in any grade or subject area. Join me to learn more about Experience and all it has to offer you, as an educator. Earn up to 5 OPI renewals.

Montana Virtual Professional Learning - Summer 2024

Join Allison Nys for our Montana Professional Learning Series with Discovery Education Experience, available to all Montana educators at no cost. All classes earn 1 OPI renewal credit, unless otherwise noted. Registration is required.

Need some one-on-one time?

Email Allison Nys at ANys@discoveryed.com to schedule 1:1 Professional Development time. Any time that exceeds an hour qualifies for OPI renewal credits.

Getting Started with Discovery Education Experience
Receive 1 OPI renewal credit upon completion.
Explore engaging and relevant resources like video segments, virtual field trips, interactives, songs, audio books and more to supplement and enrich your curriculum. Dive into timesaving, ready-to-use activities for all grade levels and content areas that integrate the best of the 150,000+ vetted, curated, and standards-aligned resources. Power up your lessons with tools like Studio, Quiz, instructional strategies, and accessibility tools like Immersive Reader to meet the learning and language needs of all your students. Join us and learn about these engaging resources and useful instructional strategies!

Using Discovery Education Studio (Editing and Creating)
Receive 1 OPI renewal credit upon completion with options to earn 1 more credit for project work.
Learn how to utilize Studio, within Experience, to edit existing boards, slides and templates or learn how to create your own lessons utilizing Studio. Participants of this class should already have their Discovery Education Experience login.
