OKLAHOMA QUAIL FOREVER & PHEASANTS FOREVER

Oklahoma Quail Forever & Pheasants Forever is a part of the national Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever organization that is recognized as the nation’s leader in upland habitat conservation. We share the same MISSION to conserve quail, pheasants, and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public access, education, and conservation advocacy.

Our VISION is to use that mission to inspire and create more current and future generations of hunters and conservationists who are able to enjoy abundant populations of wild quail, pheasants and other wildlife. Oklahoma chapters were started in 2005 and currently has 18 chapters with nearly 4,000 dedicated members and supporters in all corners of the state.

We INVITE you to be a part of our community with shared interests to restore and improve wildlife habitat and provide folks of all ages and genders with access to numerous outdoor recreational opportunities and get engaged with our efforts for conservation of all wildlife.

Congratulations Hannah! #Repost @quail_forever with @get_repost ・・・ Congratulations to QF member Hannah Hayes @hunnunuhh and her vizsla Cooper for a successful public-land hunt in western Oklahoma over the opening weekend. Hannah says this was Cooper’s second bird season, but first time to really find and point a covey of quail on his own. “Last year he was still a pup and not broke, but I still took him out every time I hunted,” says Hannah. “It wasn’t the best year for quail hunting so he didn’t get a ton of wild bird exposure. He had a handful of birds shot over him last year but didn’t play a part in getting the birds up for us. This year he is broke, has already seen over 15 coveys, and knows what he’s doing!
