Farm to School

Kids Win, Farmers Win, Communities Win!

Farm to school enriches the connection communities have with fresh, healthy food and local food producers by changing food purchasing and education practices at schools and early care and education sites. Students gain access to healthy, local foods as well as education opportunities such as school gardens, cooking lessons and farm field trips.

Technical Assistance Portal

As a network we are committed to providing members with assistance as they navigate the many facets of farm to school. While we have provided resources for evaluation on the website, evaluation of programs is unique to each program and we are committed to helping groups through the process of evaluating their farm to school efforts. In addition to evaluation, gran writing is another large area where we are available to provide technical assistance. Applying for funding opportunities can be a significant barrier for organizations due to lack of time or capacity. We are here to help!

Beyond the large areas of technical assistance and grant writing, our network is here to answer questions and overcome hurdles within farm to school generally. If you would like to request technical assistance, please fill out the form below and we will be in contact shortly!
