Upper Peninsula
The first couple of weeks in October should find the counties in the Upper Peninsula and the Tip of the Mitt in peak color.

Porkies Ski Area Fall Chairlift Rides
Get a bird's-eye view of Michigan's stunning fall foliage on a chairlift ride to the top of the Porkies ski hill in Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park.
The chairlift runs Saturday and Sunday through Oct. 14, from noon - 6 p.m. (Eastern), cost is $10 for adults and children over 10.
