News Media Handout B-roll and Still Photos for 2020 Census Media Coverage

Federal law (Title 13) requires the U.S. Census Bureau to protect the privacy of information we collect from anyone completing the 2020 Census and all other surveys. To assist the news media in telling the story of the importance of the 2020 Census, we have provided video and still images, which simulate the 2020 Census operation. Video clips include the ways (online, phone, paper) individuals can complete the 2020 Census questionnaire; census takers interviewing individuals in person; our processing operation; and our jobs and recruitment efforts.

Photos and video do not include official 2020 Census enumeration operations or activities.  The Census Bureau requires that census takers wear a mask while conducting their work. They will follow CDC and local public health guidelines when they visit.
