As a Program Specialist in the GSA, FAS, Office of Professional Services & Human Capital Categories (PSHC), you will develop and manage the content strategy for the Acquisition Gateway and for the internal communications for the Professional Services and Human Capital Portfolio.
Position will be filled in one of the following four locations: Auburn, WA, Washington, DC, Atlanta, GA or Ft. Worth, TX

The GS-13 salary range starts at:
$96,117 per year for Atlanta, GA.
$99,941 per year for Auburn, WA
$102,663 year for Washington, DC
$98,336 per year for Ft. Worth, TX
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as gathering information, identifying and analyzing issues, developing recommendations and coordinating Gateway web content for a government or corporation-wide knowledge sharing portal; applying category management processes, laws, regulations, methodologies, and/or policies to provide technical guidance; and developing communication plans and strategies to increase awareness of category management principles and policies.

Expert knowledge of category management processes, its governing laws, regulations, methodologies and/or policies to provide sound and authoritative technical guidance on all issues related to the program. Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following categories is required: Information Technology (IT) consulting; IT hardware; IT outsourcing; IT security; IT software; telecommunications; administrative support; facilities and tools; professional services; security, scientific, hospitality, prefab buildings, and building materials; workplace environment; motor vehicles; card services; travel; relocation; freight; and package delivery.
Expert knowledge and application of Acquisition Gateway content marketing, online marketing, as well as, processes and theories of delivering value-added content and shopper solutions.
Mastery knowledge of project management principles, methods, and practices, including developing plans and schedules, estimating resource requirements, defining milestones and deliverables, monitoring activities, and evaluating and reporting on accomplishments.
Expert knowledge of best practice category management, spend management methods, tools and templates, contractual and commercial models, effective stakeholder management.
