This workshop will consist of lectures designed to provide a general overview of the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) along with lectures on MEPS-HC survey design, health care utilization, expenditures, medical conditions; and statistical issues and challenges researchers face while analyzing MEPS-HC data. Q&A sessions will be scheduled after each set of presentations, providing participants with opportunities to ask questions pertaining to their specific research. This workshop is offered FREE of cost.

There will also be three hands-on sessions in which researchers can learn how to analyze MEPS data using SAS, STATA, and R. Participants can choose to attend any or all sessions.
