Artwork Submission Form - Children’s Environmental Health Summit Poster Contest 2021

The topic for this year's poster contest is Health Equity and what that means to YOU, the submitting artist.

What is Health Equity? Health equity means making sure that everyone has the opportunity to be as healthy as possible. Some things that determine the health of an individual or a community includes: access to healthy foods, living in a safe neighborhood, having quality housing (house or apartment) to live in and a quality education not based on your zip code (where you live), being able to see a health care professional (doctor, nurse, physician assistant) when needed, and a safe area to play. It is also important to have friends, family and neighbors to create this community. Not having access to these things creates health inequities.

Entry can be a photo or scan of original artwork of each student. Electronic created submissions (paint, creator, tablet, however no videos) are also allowed and will be judged separately. Prizes will be awarded for each grade and category.

Prizes: First ($100), second ($75), and third ($50) overall winners will receive Visa gift cards. One overall winner for electronic created submissions ($50) There will also be one winner from each grade that will receive a $25 Visa gift card. Everyone is encouraged to submit a poster! All participants will receive a certificate!
