PT/Coup - Tidal Cancellations for Thursday, April 25

Low tides will cancel one or more sailings from Port Townsend and Coupeville in April.  Please see our Tidal Cancellations table for a complete list of affected dates and departures.

On Thursday, April 25, the 9:30 a.m. sailing from Port Townsend and the 10:15 a.m. from Coupeville are cancelled due to tidal conditions.

Your alternate routes are Edmonds/Kingston and/or Mukilteo/Clinton

Sea/BI/Brem - Colman Dock View Deck Elevator Closure 4/23 & 4/24

Please be advised that the view deck elevators at the south end of Colman Dock, near the Passenger Only Ferry, will be out of operation until 2:30 p.m. today, and will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24.  The elevators at the entry building along Alaskan Way remain open for customer use. The stairways at both locations will remain open.

Weekday Delays Across SR 104 Hood Canal Bridge

Factor in extra time if your weekday ferry plans include travel across the State Route 104 Hood Canal Bridge. On Monday, April 15, WSDOT crews will begin an in-depth inspection of the bridge that involves opening the draw span occasionally. This work requires closing the bridge to all traffic for up to an hour around 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. each weekday. The exact time could vary depending on work progress.

The inspection is scheduled to wrap up Friday, April 26.

Sea/BI - Chimacum Sailing at Reduced Capacity Due to a Shortage of Crew

The #1 M/V Chimacum will sail at a limited vessel capacity of 767 passengers for the remainder of the service day. The vessel crew has been reduced and in order to keep the vessel in service, we have had to reduce the number of passengers per sailing.  Customers should anticipate delays due to limited vessel capacity and an increase in vehicle traffic volumes.  Updates will occur when conditions change.

Due to a medical emergency onboard the M/V Chimacum, the vessels' 11:30 a.m. departure from Bainbridge is delayed.  We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
