In partnership with the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), Urban Cycling Solutions (UCS) offers a complete streets and active transportation training to communities throughout New York State. This training includes detailed instruction on the complete array of complete streets topics including:
Defining Complete Streets; Infrastructure; Establishing a Policy Framework; Implementing Complete Streets
Evaluating Success and Education & Enforcement. This training was specifically designed for New York Communities, featuring data and case studies from across the state. The training is intended to educate and empower local planning boards, MPOs, public agency planning staff and key community stakeholders.
