What is Cascade Care?
Cascade Care aims to increase the availability of quality, affordable health coverage in the individual market. This includes Cascade Care plans — Cascade (standard) and Cascade Select (public option) — and Cascade Care Savings, set to begin in January 2023.
How are Cascade Care programs implemented?
Washington Health Benefit Exchange implemented Senate Bill 5526 (Cascade Care), in partnership with the Health Care Authority and the Office of the Insurance Commissioner.
