DHS held a third public forum to provide information about the EVV requirement, new policy, and next steps for home health care services (HHCS) and personal care nurse supervisory code 99509 on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
DHS held a second public forum to provide information about the EVV federal requirement for home health care services (HHCS) and personal care nurse supervisory code 99509 on Thursday, August 24, 2023.
The first forum about home health care services and electronic visit verification was held on March 2, 2023. The purpose of the event was to share information about the federally mandated EVV requirements and receive feedback from people who receive or provide home health care services. (Proposed home health care service codes that will require use of an EVV system in Wisconsin include 92507, 97139, 97799, 99600, 99504, S9123, S9124, T1001, T1021, T1502, S9097, T1030, T1031.)
DHS held an online forum to provide information about the hard launch of electronic visit verification (EVV) for personal care and supportive home care services in Wisconsin. Details about the EVV federal requirement, specifics regarding the hard launch on May 1, 2023, and resources to prepare were shared.
DHS held an online forum to provide an update on the implementation of EVV in Wisconsin. New information about EVV policy, including details about the hard launch date and preparation were presented. The January 1, 2022, hard launch date mentioned in this forum was rescheduled for May 1, 2023.
DHS held an EVV online public forum on July, 29, 2020. During the forum, DHS provided an update on the implementation of EVV in Wisconsin, including information about the November 2, 2020, soft launch policy, and training.
The spring EVV forum was held on March 11, 2020, in West Allis. DHS provided an update on the implementation of EVV in Wisconsin, which included new information on training, program design decisions, and next steps.
The fourth EVV forum for members, participants, workers, providers, and associations was held on November 19, 2019, in Neenah. DHS shared information on the 2020 implementation timeline and the training plan.
The July 24, 2019, forums were intended for those who receive care and those who deliver or administer it. The content and opportunity for discussion was similar to the November 2018 forum in Stevens Point and the April 2019 forum in Milwaukee.

This forum spoke about service codes that require EVV, shared a system demonstration, and presented a timeline.
