The Kitsap County Accessible Communities Advisory Committee meets at 10 a.m. on the second Tuesday of every month - currently virtually via Zoom - with a goal to create and support an inclusive community where all people have equal access. Meetings are open to the public. People who represent all disabilities are encouraged to get involved.
The Accessibilities Communities Advisory Committee is currently looking for people who are interested in joining the advisory group.
Are you:
> Someone with a passion for creating a community that’s accessible to all?
> A person with a disability—mobility impairment, blind, Deaf/hearing impaired (ASL interpreters can be provided), intellectual/developmental impairment, mental illness, chronic illness, neurodiverse,
acquired brain injury, etc.?
> Someone who works with people with disabilities or a parent of a child with disabilities?
If so, you’re welcome to join us! We work to raise awareness of disability issues and to provide resources for people with disability issues.
