Vietnam Veterans March | 2023 Minnesota State Fair
In recognition of the 50th Anniversary of Vietnam Veterans leaving Vietnam, the Minnesota National Guard is seeking 300 Vietnam Veterans to participate in a March during the State Fair’s Military Appreciation Day on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Each Vietnam Veteran will receive one (1) complimentary ticket for the day. Additional tickets are at the participant’s expense. The State Fair typically provides discounted tickets for the day to military members. Report to Leinie Lodge, Minnesota State Fair Grounds at 11 a.m., the March will begin at 11:15 a.m. The march will be a leisurely stroll from Leinie Lodge to Dan Patch Park; a distance of approximately six (6) blocks. Registration will remain open until we reach capacity of 300 Veterans or August 18th. The one (1) complimentary ticket will be distributed by mail no later than August 19th, 2023.
