ABOUT THE CAMP PROGRAM

The Fiscal Year 2023 COPS Anti-Methamphetamine Program (CAMP) is a competitive award program designed to advance public safety by providing funds directly to state law enforcement agencies in states with high seizures of precursor chemicals, finished methamphetamine, laboratories, and laboratory dump seizures for the purpose of locating or investigating illicit activities such as precursor diversion, laboratories, or methamphetamine traffickers.

Funding
There is approximately $16 million in funding available through FY 2023 CAMP. Each award is three years (36 months) in duration. CAMP budget requests must be at least $1 million, and recipients may receive a maximum of $2 million per award. There is no local match.
