The Mitigation Message Calendar for Social Media

Finding mitigation/preparedness messages at the right time for the right audience, can be difficult.

To address this issue, the Region 6 Communication Group developed a Mitigation Message Calendar for Social Media.

The goal is to give you a tool to make weekly messaging easier for you and your Public Information Office. These messages mirror the Ready.gov Seasonal Preparedness calendar.

We will show you how you can import your logo onto an existing FEMA graphic, so it is YOUR message.

You may share this calendar with others, so that one day, like the Ready.gov, this calendar will become standard in mitigation messaging and serve as a "drum beat" for communities.
