Get Vaccinated

Getting your winter vaccinations are your best protection against viruses over the winter months.

Please note that free Covid-19 vaccinations for this winter ended on 31 January. However, you will be able to get your free flu vaccination until 31 March and we strongly encourage you to do so.
You will be protecting yourself, your family and the wider community.

Remove the reference to Covid here so it just reads: Getting vaccinated can prevent you from becoming seriously ill and needing hospital treatment if you get flu.

Getting vaccinated can prevent you from becoming seriously ill and needing hospital treatment if you get Covid or flu.

You will also be helping to slow the spread of these viruses throughout the wider community, which will help to protect elderly and vulnerable people.

By looking after yourself and getting vaccinated you will be supporting our local medical services, which will be under great pressure during the winter months.

The vaccinations are completely safe and the process of getting them is quick and easy. There will be a vaccination clinic close to your home.

Flu vaccinations happen every year. This is because the viruses can change from one winter to the next. The vaccines are updated for each winter to give protection against the strains of flu that are around. For this reason, it is strongly recommended that even if you were vaccinated last year, you should be vaccinated again this year.
