View Past Helicopter Activity

To see where helicopters have treated in the past, you can access our District Maps which are updated in real-time. Type in an address to view all of the water-holding areas that are being monitored for mosquito larvae and click on large ponds, swamps, and wetlands to view treatment history. When you click on an area a box will open at the bottom of the page with a link to click on Site Info. Clicking on that link will open a new tab with historical records at that location.

What are MMCD helicopters doing?

Helicopters apply a dry granule or pellet containing a natural soil bacterium or a mosquito growth regulator to wetlands and large areas of standing water to prevent larval mosquitoes from becoming biting adults. These are bio-rational control materials which specifically target mosquito larvae and pose no risk to human or animal health. MMCD helicopters DO NOT apply liquid control materials that target adult mosquitoes. Learn more about our mosquito control program.
