Every year the State of Indiana receives funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for community development activities, to develop affordable housing, and to help residents with housing costs. These funds are distributed in Indiana’s small cities and rural areas.

The state’s Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA, https://www.in.gov/ocra/) and the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA, https://www.in.gov/ihcda/) are conducting this survey to collect updated information on the primary housing and community development needs of underserved residents and Indiana’s small cities and rural areas. This survey will help the state determine how to spend federal funding during 2022.

Please take this survey if you are a resident in the state’s smaller cities and rural areas or if you work in the fields of housing and community development, lending, social services, fair housing and advocacy. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

All responses are confidential and will only be reported in combination with those of other participants.

Please invite others to participate in the survey by forwarding this email.
