Ian Parry is Principal Environmental Fiscal Policy Expert in the IMF’s Fiscal Affairs Department, specializing in fiscal analysis of climate mitigation and energy price reform. Before joining the Fund in 2010, Ian worked for 15 years at Resources for the Future where he held the Allen V. Kneese Chair in Environmental Economics. He has a PhD in economics from the University of Chicago.
