In May of 2022, former Governor Kate Brown directed the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) and the Higher Education Coordinating Commission (ECC) to develop a plan to provide equitable access to computer science learning opportunities to every public school student in Oregon by the 2027-2028 school year.
Your feedback matters! This survey is a way for Oregonians to share ideas on how to best meet the Governor’s directive. Our goal is to develop a plan that guides students from simply using computers to knowing how to create and solve problems with computers. Our mission includes identifying immediate practical and long-term changes with a focus on equity and inclusion.
