Business Forecast Strengthening Provinces to Deliver Integrated Health Services (SPDIHS)
The 5-year Strengthening Provinces to Deliver Integrated Health Services activity’s goal is to contribute to the Government the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) overarching goal of improving the health of Congolese in four provinces:Lualaba, Haut-Lomami, Haut-Katanga, and Kasai Oriental. The Activity seeks to promote ownership and leadership of provinces to lead, manage, and monitor health programs (family planning, maternal, newborn and child health, nutrition, immunization, tuberculosis, malaria and global health security). The Activity supports the application of the Memorandum of Understanding for primary health care services in four provinces: Lualaba, Haut Lomami, Haut Katanga and Kasai Oriental. The Recipient will manage Fixed-price subcontracts to provincial institutions, provide managerial and technical assistance, and catalyze on civil society expertise to improve equitable quality and access to primary care health services. These Fixed-price sub-contracts shall be given based on provincial financial contributions for health. These fixed-price sub-contracts need to contribute to increased provincial domestic mobilization of financial resources for health programs within each province.

Acquisition

Pending completed feasibility studies, USAID is considering the construction of a rail segment from the Mostyska Border to Lviv. This could include: the co-alignment of 1435 mm track, substructures such as bridges and utility relocations, and updated signaling to integrate the existing line to Trans European Network for Transport (TEN-T) standards.

This activity will support the three tiers of governments to improve the health system, especially around improved governance, improved demand-side barriers and accountability of communities in the health system, and improved quality of health care services at the facility and community level. The activity will focus on improving quality of care for maternal newborn and family planning services, prioritizing marginalized communities. The support will complement the USAID Health Direct Financing Project, improve readiness of health facilities and prepare the health system for the possible future health emergencies with increased coordination across three tiers of government.

The USAID Mass Communication activity will focus in health and nutrition related mass communication interventions, which will develop, produce, implement, and monitor radio and television programming and social media campaings to promote priority behaviors, contributing to sustained improvements in health and nutrition behaviors and shifts in the social norms that underpin these behaviors. Also this activity will enage with and build capacity of local media stakeholders, including local radio producers and journalists, while also collaborating with and providing professional development to the GON's National Health Education, Information and Communication Center.

The Purposes of the care and treatment activity are:
? Improve equitable access to and use of quality comprehensive HIV prevention, testing, care,
and treatment services for all South Sudanese.
? Provide quality comprehensive services for key populations at the current locations and expand
as needed.
? Develop local partner capacity and prepare local partners to manage direct awards.

USAID/Guatemala's Monitoring, Evaluation, Collaboration, Learning, and Adaptation (MECLA) Platform comprises three core components:
1. Monitoring with advanced data systems for informed decision-making. 2. Evaluations to measure project impact and refine strategies.
3. Collaboration to strengthen local capacities and partnerships. These components are underpinned by cross-cutting themes of localization, inclusive development, and learning.

Famine Early Warning System Network Decision Support Services, including monitoring and analyzing food insecurity, data collection, support USAID/BHA's decision making process on programing, and capacity building.
