Windrush 75 events in Birmingham
Birmingham City Council would like to share the details of community-led activities planned across Birmingham to mark the 75th anniversary of HMT Windrush’s arrival on 21 June 1948. We want to ensure members of the Windrush generation and our city’s diverse communities are aware of activities taking place across Birmingham.
To make this as accessible as possible, we created a free digital platform on our website which included all Windrush 75 activities. We asked all organisations and local community groups for details of their planned activities to populate the site.
