Our fire partners in eastern Placer County have issued a red flag warning through late Friday. Not only does this mean the Red Flag Warning Awareness program red flags are out, it also means fire restrictions for eastern Placer County. Learn more


Temporary closure of all California national forests

Due to continued fire risk throughout the state, the United States Forest Service Pacific Southwest Region has extended a temporary closure order for all 18 national forests in California until Sept. 21.
