Hunter Education Conventional

22/25 Seats Open - This class is a thorough introduction to firearm safety, ethics, and responsibility. Online portion not required to attend this class. There will be a multiple-choice written exam. Do not bring your own firearm or ammunition - ODFW will provide all equipment. Update ODFW youth account with current contact email and mailing address. A temporary orange hunter safety card will be issued upon completion of class and hard cards will be mailed within 60 days.

CLASS FULL - 0/25 Seats Open - This class gives a thorough introduction to the skills hunters need, covering topics like: Firearms safety, hunter ethics, wildlife ID, and outdoor survival. All youth students are required to participate in a live fire exercise. Live fire is included in class dates listed. MUST ATTEND ALL DATES. Please update ODFW youth account with current email and mailing address, a temporary card will be issued at end of class and a hard card will be mailed to the student within 60 days of class completion.
