To qualify for the GS-11 grade level, applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-09, in the Federal Service. Your resume must specifically demonstrate this experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience implementing data collection and economic methods to prepare products for use in economic research, studies, and analyses - demonstrating competent application of standard economic and econometric analysis techniques.

To qualify for the GS-12 grade level, applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-11, in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as experience executing conventional economic analytical techniques and procedures including statistical data collection, data processing, and applied econometrics methods to produce meaningful information and recommendations for assigned analyses. Experience in conducting peer reviews for international reports or scholarly literature. Experience in maintaining, evaluating, and controlling quality of assigned economic analyses by validating economic data that was gathered from internal and external stakeholders.
