Foyle School Library Scheme

State-funded schools in the UK can apply to the Foyle School Library Scheme for grants to support their school library up until the end of September 2024, when the scheme will close.

The majority of funds will be provided for the purchase of reading books for the library – grants are not available for textbooks or curriculum books. The foundation will also consider contributions towards library software, necessary IT equipment and furniture in order to create a suitable library space.

Priority is given to primary schools although secondary schools can also apply for funding for catch-up reading initiatives. Establishments for nursery/early years only are not eligible.

Schools can apply for between £2,000 and £10,000.

Focus of fund/fund aims:

Grants of £2,000 to £10,000 for books and reading resources in state schools and special schools

Application deadline:

30 September 2024
