Gretchen Whitmer and 70+ global leaders who will exchange knowledge and build networks to drive economic competitiveness and across the Americas, Caribbean and beyond. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation is the host for the 18th Competitiveness Exchange (ACE), an initiative of the Organization of American States (OAS), held in coordination with the U.S. Department of Commerce's U.S. Economic Development Administration and International Trade Administration, and the U.S. Department of State to foster collaboration. On Day 1 of the weeklong tour of the state of Michigan, delegates learned about innovations in automotive manufacturing, and the convergence of the auto industry and defense industry in the region.
