Updates & Changes for 2022

Structural Changes:

Requesting Access via NCEdCloud

For Staff with no NCEdCloud access:

No Account At All: NCEdCloud staff accounts are created automatically based on being active in the Staff UID system. If the LEA Administrator for this PSU does not see the staff member at all in NCEdCloud, they will need to ensure the employee is active in Staff UID and Linq HR. If the employee is activated by 4pm, they will appear in NCEdCloud the next day. There is no way to manually add an employee to NCEdCloud outside of this process.

Account Not Claimed: If the PSU Administrator for this charter does see the staff member in NCEdCloud, they may just need to claim their account. Instructions to claim accounts are available here

Select the appropriate user role (wait for approval from PSU admin or DPI staff)

The intent here is to have a best estimate of how many students have access on a regular basis to high speed internet at home.  If a student uses a hot spot but it runs out of data after a week, then they do NOT have access to reliable, consistent high speed internet at home.  We encourage systems to do their best in determining this.

Digital Content & Instruction-

This focus area has been omitted from the DLMI for the 2021-22 School Year.
