Philadelphia-based Republic Bank was closed late today by Pennsylvania bank regulators, which appointed the FDIC as receiver. To protect depositors, we entered into an agreement with Fulton Bank to assume substantially all deposits and assets of Republic. https://lnkd.in/eB6x64zw

Today, we released a list of administrative enforcement actions taken against banks and individuals in March. There are no administrative hearings scheduled for May 2024. https://lnkd.in/euG75t5s

Today, our Board of Directors released the semiannual update on the Deposit Insurance Fund Restoration Plan. We project the Fund is on track to reach the statutory minimum reserve ratio ahead of the September 2028 deadline. https://lnkd.in/em5ewV2i
