The series of activities for beginners and newcomers at Baggeridge country park has come to an end, but our first Summer Series event will be at Himley on the 30th April; all newcomers welcome.

Session details:

• 5th March – safety; basic map features; the timing system    
• 12th March – orienting the map
• 19th March – map symbols
• 26th March – using the compass
• 2nd April – judging distance
• 9th April – going off-path
