Description:
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is the ability to recognize and understand emotions in yourself and others. EQ impacts almost everything you say or do on a daily basis, it affects how we manage behavior and navigate social complexities. The good news is that unlike cognitive intelligence (IQ) which usually plateaus at adolescence, with effort EQ can be developed and increased over time.
A high EQ establishes critical leadership skills such as time management, effective decision making, and communication. Which makes it the single biggest predictor of performance and the most sought-after quality of top leaders.
In this course you will learn:
- Techniques to deepen your self-awareness and recognizing how your behaviors impact others around you
- How to build greater awareness of your emotional state and thus handle conflict more effectively
- Be able to call on empathy even in difficult situations to hear what people are really saying
- Clearly express your ideas and information with confidence
Please note that is course consists of two 90 minute sessions.
