8     LONG TITLE
9     General Description:
10          This bill extends the sunset date for provisions authorizing the insurance commissioner
11     to coordinate with other entities regarding certain insurance regulations.
12     Highlighted Provisions:
13          This bill:
14          ▸     extends the sunset date for provisions authorizing the insurance commissioner to:
15               •     adopt an agreement with certain entities within or outside the state to address
16     certain insurance regulations; and
17               •     negotiate an interstate compact to address issuance of certain insurance
18     certificates of authority; and
19          ▸     makes technical changes.

26          63I-1-231, as last amended by Laws of Utah 2019, Chapter 136

28     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
29          Section 1. Section 63I-1-231 is amended to read:
30          63I-1-231. Repeal dates: Title 31A.
31          [(1)] Section 31A-2-217, Coordination with other states, is repealed July 1, [2023]
32     2033.
33          [(2) Section 31A-22-615.5 is repealed July 1, 2022.]
