📈 About the 2022 Economic Census
The economic census is the U.S. government’s official five-year measure of businesses in the United States and their economic impact. Sent to more than 4.2 million business locations, it provides the most comprehensive data available at the national, state and local level, representing most industries and geographies.
Economic census data guide business decisions and policies that impact every industry and community. Businesses use economic data to make decisions like where to locate and how much to produce, while local communities use economic census data to assess the economic health of their localities.
