The OceanGliders Boundary Ocean Observing Network (BOON) aims to coordinate the development of a network of networks that monitor variability along ocean boundaries globally as part of the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS). It will support regional efforts that respect coastal countries; encourage sustained year-round operations; encourage and facilitate sharing of near-real time and post-processed data to public repositories; and seek coordination with regional modeling efforts.
