Webinar on Proposed Revision to the Regulation of Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Toxic Chemicals Under TSCA
Join EPA on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. ET for a webinar on the Agency’s recent proposed rule regarding decabromodiphenyl ether (decaBDE) and phenol, isopropylated phosphate (3:1) (PIP (3:1)). These are persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT) chemicals subject to risk management rules under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). EPA will present an overview of the proposed changes to the regulations for decaBDE and PIP (3:1).
This webinar will present an overview of the proposed regulatory action and will be useful for those who would like to provide comments. These may include industry groups; nonprofit or academic organizations; Tribes; or other interested parties.
Additionally, EPA is accepting public comments on the proposed rule until January 8, 2024, via docket EPA-HQ-OPPT-2023-0376 at www.regulations.gov.
