Maybe I'm the only one, but I love the Libby app and hated the Overdrive app. I found the new app pretty intuitive as soon as I opened it. I also really enjoy the design. My biggest issues with Libby are that it has no offline mode like Overdrive had, and like Overdrive, Libby does not sync between devices. Some people I've met say it does, but I've only seen it partially work once in the time I've had it.

I use this app to listen to audiobooks, download books to my Kindle, and read magazines. I like that wait times for books on hold update as you move through the line. I like that I can build lists using tags, easily do searches, find curated lists from my library, and can look up books I've already enjoyed and get a list of similar books suggested. I wish I could set different playback speeds for different books so that I didn't have to manually change it every time I switched between books.

Difficult to say the least! Hard app to manipulate, seems it was made to be difficult! How come this app can not keep track of where I was before I shut the car down , It forgets every time I restart the car. Adding books is a chore as I can not group catagories together (Science fiction and Fantasy) There are some great women writers but there are many who I could do without. But I can not sort my listing in any usable way, Why the change to something that does not work well? Please bring back

What's new

We've fixed several issues in Android Auto that were affecting playback and listening positions. We've also added support for the Māori language.
