Education and medical professionals will share their practical and faith-based advice on preparing young children for a return to school, focusing on tips on how best to talk to children about embracing this new experience with excitement and hope. This event is intended to encourage a positive approach and opportunities as children return to school in uncertain times. Deputy Secretary of Education General Mitchell M. Zais will participate in the webinar to briefly review the challenges families faced during shutdown and the value of reopening schools; A practicing pediatrician and mother of young children serving on her school’s reopen committee who will explain the benefits of in person instruction for elementary age children and how parents can prepare their families for school; Games and strategies for parents of young children will be discussed; and Handouts will be available to registrants after the event.                                                                   RSVP noreply@air.org America/New_York public
