Free face masks available for businesses

Under Executive Order 20-81, Minnesotans are required to wear a face covering in all public indoor spaces and indoor businesses.

Ramsey County is working in collaboration with the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce to supply businesses with face masks. In recognition that racially and ethnically diverse communities and businesses have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, we're working to distribute masks specifically to:

  • Businesses that are owned by or whose customers are primarily Latinx, Asian, Black and/or American Indian.
  • Businesses located in the 55106 or 55117 zip codes.

On Tuesday, July 21 the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners declared racism as a public health crisis in Ramsey County. Prioritizing mask distribution based on the above criteria will help slow the spread of COVID-19 and assist minority-owned businesses and our most racially diverse communities.

Mask distribution sites for all businesses open July 27

The Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce is coordinating several mask distribution sites across Ramsey County that are open to all businesses located within the county. Businesses do not need to be Chamber members or meet the criteria for the county's prioritized distribution project.

To reach as many companies as possible, businesses will be limited to one box of 50 masks.

All locations begin distribution on Monday, July 27 and continue into Tuesday and Wednesday or until the available supply of masks runs out.
