In a live address scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was expected to announce that, starting Tuesday, all Minnesotans older than 16 would be eligible for a coronavirus vaccine.

Here’s some more about that decision. And here’s Thursday’s story with the rising rates of infection in Minnesota.

Walz’s address will be streamed live via his official YouTube channel.

After his remarks, Walz and Health Commissioner Jan Malcolm were scheduled to take questions from reporters. The Pioneer Press will be there. Check back with us later in the day for more information as we learn it.
