To reach more people and support local communities our Primary Care Networks have hosted pop-up vaccination clinics. One of the clinics was organised by the local GP-led vaccination service for patients of Fitzalan Medical Group and the Coppice & Angmering Medical Centre.
It was run on Saturday, April 17, with pre-booked appointments available from 9.30am to 1pm and a drop-in session from 1pm to 3pm.
Nichola Gasston, administrator at Fitzalan, said: “We realise that some of our community are unable to travel to Angmering, where we have had our local vaccination service and some find it difficult to make appointments. We want to make sure that all of our patients have the same opportunities and so have decided to try to bring the vaccine to the community”.
The pop-up vaccination clinic has had great success and we are hoping to provide more services and more clinics in the local area.
