NOTICE OF WEEKEND WORK

The City of New Orleans construction contractor, Hard Rock Construction, LLC., will be performing subsurface utility installation and roadway restoration features this weekend in an effort to remain on schedule.

WHEN: Saturday May 11, 2024, from 8AM to 5PM

WHERE: French St. (Louis XIV St. to Canal Blvd.)
Vicksburg St. (Kenilworth St. to Polk Ave.)

During this time there will be large trucks and heavy equipment hauling materials in the area. Public safety is our priority; residents and commuters are reminded to use caution when driving, bicycling and walking near the construction site.

About the Project

This weekend work is part of the $18.4M Lakeview South B Project joint infrastructure project with the City of New Orleans’ Department of Public Works and Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans.

Once complete, residents will experience an overall improved quality of life as the project will improve subsurface utilities and roadway restoration. The project is scheduled to be completed in Summer 2025.

The City of New Orleans construction contractor, Roubion Roads and Streets, LLC, will be continuing restoration and cleanup work this weekend in an effort to remain on schedule.

WHEN: Saturday, May 11th, 2024, from 7:00am – 5:30pm

WHERE: Flamingo St
Calla Ln
Ibis St

During this time there will be large trucks and heavy equipment hauling materials in the area. Public safety is our priority; residents and commuters are reminded to use caution when driving, bicycling and walking near the construction site.

About the Project

This weekend work is part of the approximately $12.7M Lake Vista Group D joint infrastructure project with the City of New Orleans’ Department of Public Works and Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans.

Once complete, residents will experience an overall improved quality of life as the project will improve drainage, repair streets, curbs and sidewalks and install new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant curb ramps at intersections. The project is scheduled to be completed in fall 2024.

The City of New Orleans Department of Public Works’ contractor Impetus Infrastructure, LLC. in conjunction with the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, will be performing a waterline tie-in.

WHEN: Tuesday, May 7, 2024. from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

WHERE: Jeanette St. (South Carrollton Ave. to Adams St.)
Burdette St. (Jeanette St. to Spruce St.)

When water is restored, run your faucets for 5 minutes to flush out the lines
before resuming regular use.

If water is not restored within one hour of 6PM on Tuesday, May 7th residents will be contacted by RoadworkNOLA and Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans via text messaging alert and/or community canvassing.

This temporary disruption of services is part of the $28.7M East Carrollton Group B & C joint infrastructure project with the City of New Orleans’ Department of Public Works and Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans.

The City of New Orleans construction contractor, RNDG Construction, will be on-site removing standing water from the newly poured road base this Saturday, May 4th, 2024, in an effort to remain on schedule.

WHEN: Saturday, May 4th, 2023, 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

About the Project

This weekend work is part of the $34 M St. Anthony Group A infrastructure project with the City of New Orleans’ Department of Public Works and Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans. The project is focused on repaving the asphalt roadway from curb-to-curb, replacing damaged portions of concrete with new concrete, patching the roadway with asphalt, repairing damaged sidewalks and driveway aprons, installing ADA compliant curb ramps at intersections, and replacing/repairing damaged underground water, sewer and/or drainage lines. The project is scheduled to be completed in late Summer of 2025.

Once complete, residents will experience an overall improved quality of life as the project will improve drainage, repair streets, curbs and sidewalks and install new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant curb ramps at intersections.
