For the first time, OSL is running a statewide book study! We will explore resources and frameworks in the book “Ambitious Science Teaching.” Participants will receive a free copy of the book…and we have lots of copies! Who should attend? Everyone! We especially welcome K-12 science educators and anyone involved in science adoption. Consider joining with a team from your school or district. Book study description: Each month, we will talk about book ideas and consider science classroom and adoption committee applications. We will also explore resources beyond the book that support cultural relevance, anti-racism, and social justice in science classrooms. Book study logistics: 2nd Monday of the month (Oct-May), 4-5 pm on Zoom. Sign up by Friday, Sept. 22 to receive your free copy of the book! |
