Health and wellbeing in the community

Access community based health and wellbeing programmes including weekly wellbeing walks and gentle exercise classes.

 

South Staffordshire Council provide a great range of Health and Wellbeing schemes which will not only help you to get fitter and improve your health, but they're a great way to meet new people and are easy to access too.

Weekly programmes of activities are held at various locations across the district and include instructor-led Wellbeing Walks, group cycling sessions and gentle exercise classes.  

Gentle Exercise Classes 

Gentle Exercise Classes are available for people over the age of 50.  The classes cater for all fitness levels and are one hour in duration. Charges apply and places are limited.  For more information and to book contact:

Wellbeing Walks 

We provide a programme of weekly walks which are free of charge and take place every week from various locations across the district, all of which are led by qualified walk leaders.  

The walks vary in length and difficulty with routes suitable for all fitness levels. 

All new walkers will be required to complete a short registration form on arrival at your first walk.
