MIAMI VALLEY, Ohio (WKEF) -- A new bowling league has been created for those with developmental disabilities in the Miami Valley.

With help and sponsorship by Poelking Lanes South this gives Goodwill EasterSeals Miami Valley's 'Bowlin' for Good League,' the space for adults at all skill levels, to have some fun.

Organizers say it is a great way to spend quality time with friends and family and meet new people. They meet every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"I just come here to have fun," said Rhonda Malogt, a participant in the Adult-Day support program.

"The benefits are the individuals get out in the community, they get to be a part of their community, they get to have fun, meet new people and enjoy being out, bowling in the league," added Allison Underwood, Senior Director of Community Support with Goodwill EasterSeals Miami Valley. "They love bowling, and they love the competition."
