Prevention, deterrence and response to CBRNE hazards and healthcare/public health mass casualty.
The CDP now has Virtual Instructor Led Training available. These online sessions are 1-2 hours long and require attendees to submit an on-line application. The session will be delivered using Adobe Connect, and instruction will be provided individually to each student with links and passwords.

Counterterrorism Operations Support (CTOS) is providing an exciting new training option: Instructor-mediated online course delivery! An Instructor delivers this live training using the Webex platform. Exams will be provided online through the CTOS Learning Management System (LMS).
TO SIGN UP: Visit the CTOS LMS, register or sign-in. Then, click on the course catalog and locate WBT Virtual 02 series for AWR-140, WBT Virtual 03 for AWR-346, WBT Virtual 04 for PER-345 and WBT Virtual 06 for PER-300, select the date you would like to attend, and complete the pretest prior to the start date of the course.

The Office for Bombing Prevention (OBP) leads the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) efforts to implement the National Policy for Countering Improvised Explosive Devices (National Counter-IED policy) and enhance the nation’s ability to prevent, protect against, respond to, and mitigate the use of explosives against critical infrastructure; the private sector; and federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial entities.

The Cybersecurity Defense Initiative (CDI), a national cybersecurity training program, designed for technical personnel and managers who monitor and protect our nation's critical cyber infrastructure.
CDI courses offered through the National Cybersecurity Preparedness Consortium (NCPC) include Comprehensive Cybersecurity Defense (CCD), Cybersecurity First Responder (CFR), Cybersecurity Proactive Defense (CPD), and Malware Prevention, Discovery, and Recovery (MPDR). These courses are delivered continuously in locations throughout the United States.

Integrated Emergency Management Course
(IEMC) Application Process for Fiscal Year (FY)
2025 (October 1, 2024–September 30, 2025). The
deadline for applying to the Emergency
Management Institute (EMI) for a Community-Specific IEMC in FY25 is December 11, 2023. Please allow sufficient time for both the State and FEMA Region VI to review and process.

Upcoming DSHS classes
DSHS CHEPR has partnered with National Emergency Management and Response (NEMR) to deliver 12 in-person and 4 virtual iterations of Evacuation Triage Team training. The purpose of the training is to ensure participants understand how and where to send evacuees, based upon their medical needs/conditions, utilizing the Evacuation Triage Team (ETT) model.
