In a proactive effort to strengthen emergency response capabilities, the first
responder agencies of Placer County came together this week for the annual west slope unified command training exercise.
CAL FIRE / Placer County Fire Department, the Placer County Sheriff’s Office and the Placer County Office of Emergency Services, in this joint training exercise, brought together approximately 200 dedicated firefighters, police officers, deputies, and county officials.
The exercise provided essential training, to enhance seamless coordination to ensure swift, effective action when faced with potential disasters.
By fostering collaborative partnerships and honing critical skills, this unified command training equips our first responders with the tools and knowledge necessary to effectively work together in times of crisis.
