DPI Guidance for Schools is Now Available
DHS makes companion tools available for LTHDs
This bulletin is being sent to local health officers, tribal health directors, health department staff, and key DPH staff.
The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has released Education Forward and accompanying guidance documents to aid in school districts’ decision making as they look to build educational services and supports in a COVID-19 environment. DPI collaborated with our state’s educational leaders and in conjunction with the Department of Health Services developed guidance to help local education and community leaders plan appropriately for students to return to school this fall.

Along with the DPI materials, DHS created tools that health departments can use when communicating with schools or providing technical assistance during their planning process. These resources can be found on the PHHS COVID-19 Resources SharePoint site in the School Guidance folder:
