Summer Cinema

Summer Cinema is Northwestern University’s family-friendly summer movie series sponsored by the Office of Summer Sessions and Norris University Center.

The films will be screen at dusk (around 8:30 p.m.) on the East Lawn of Norris University Center (1999 Campus Drive).

Movie goers are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, blankets, food, beverages, and an environmentally-friendly insect repellent.  Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. Free parking is available after 4:00 PM in the two-level lakeside lakefront lot south of Norris.

Special activities and check-in begin at 7:00 p.m. In the event of severe weather, Summer Cinema will be moved inside the McCormick Auditorium. The film will begin promptly at 8:00 p.m.

Pre-Movie Family Fun

Enjoy free fun beginning at 7:00 p.m. on the East Lawn.  Free popcorn is available from 7:30 -9:00 p.m. with bubble station and other special fun.
