Apply Now: NLM Data Science & Informatics Scholars Program

Interns in the DSI Scholars Program collaborting

The NLM Data Science & Informatics (DSI) Scholars Program is now accepting applications! This summer internship supports and engages undergraduate and graduate students who have an interest in careers in computational biology and biomedical informatics.

DSI Scholars will gain valuable experience in a collaborative research environment while training one-on-one with a research mentor. They will also develop scientific communication skills and actively participate in seminars and professional development workshops.

The DSI Scholars Program starts in June and runs for 8 to 12 weeks. Start dates and internship durations are flexible to accommodate interns’ individual needs. The program consists of a full-time internship. Interns will dedicate 40 hours per week to research and professional development activities.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis starting January 15, 2025. The application will close February 19, 2025, at noon ET.
